A fire gutted a house located on Jalan Masjid, RT 14/08, Lenteng Agung Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district.
No casualties were reported during the incident
South Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat) Head, Syamsul Huda stated that the agency deployed 45 firefighters to extinguish the flames at the scene.
"We received the report at 9.55 AM via call center 112. After that, we immediately deployed 11 fire.trucks to the scene," he expressed, Monday (4/22).

"We made efforts to extinguish and localize the fire, thus it did not spread to other buildings," he explained.
The fire was fully extinguished at 10.55 AM. It was allegedly caused by electrical short circuit.
"No casualties were reported during the incident," he stated.
One of the locals, Yosafat Agung (48) admitted the fire was seen from the second floor of the building accompanied by thick clouds of smoke followed by the sound of wood collapsing due to burning.
"The fire grew very quickly. Thank you to the personnel who took quick action," he closed.
